Fall fashion is not just for adults anymore, as kids clothing is getting more forward fashion each and every year. Long gone are the primary colors with ABCs and animals all over your kids clothing. Now children’s clothing is a bit more sophisticated and trends for kids seem to mirror what all the stylish moms are wearing. This fall we are seeing a lot of trends for both boys and girls that will have them looking too cool for school.
1. Sweatshirts and sweatpants
Sweatpants and sweatshirts have made a fashionable comeback. These sweats have style to them and are totally acceptable as an outfit and not just for playing around in the sandbox. The cuts are trendy, include pockets, fitted at the ankles and colors that are right on trend for fall.

2. School Spirit This is a classic fall trend when kids head back to school keeping them looking both smart and stylish. Showing your school spirit this year is easy with clothing inspired by team sports, varsity sweaters and the preppy look of khaki’s. There are even a few educational and inspiring t-shirts that might keep your little scholar motivated this year.

3. Moto + Military Trend
Nothing is cuter than a little tough guy with chubby cheeks and missing teeth or a tough girl with pigtails. Moto, military jackets and biker boots are the perfect way to style skinny jeans and faded denim for the boys or a floral skirt for the girls. Mohawk not required to rock this trend.

4. Cozy Knits
This fall is all about being cozy in knits. Oversized knits over a fun pair of printed leggings for the girls, or rugby sweaters are perfect for the boys. Cardigans are also a classic for girls and a must-have when heading out for recess on chilly days.

5. Perfectly Fitted Plaid
Kids are mad for plaid. Plaid shirts and skirts a fun way to mix in a print this fall and keep the kids warm for those visits to the apple orchards and pumpkin patches. Plaid also has an all American and western warmth to it, which makes it a classic. If your child wears a uniform, then plaid may already be apart of their fall wardrobe.
